まるで 歌の様なタイトルだが、炎について書きたくなった。
炎というタイトル・・・なんと古臭い（笑） これには、ちゃんとした、理由がある。
いや、やっぱり、ほとんど、無い（笑）。きっかけは、ある風呂屋だった。
風呂屋という言い方が、あてはまらなければ、スーパー銭湯、健康ランドと呼ぶべきか。
まあ、とにかく、風呂に浸かっていたら、炎が目に映った。かがり火ってヤツだ。
レストランの情緒？を盛り上げるために、今は、こういった、かがり火は、よく使われているらしい。
普段は、一瞥するだけで、ほとんど意識をした事がない。
風呂に浸かりながら、その炎を、じっと見ていた。
昔、よく、焚き火をした。田舎だったから、あらゆる所で、焚き火ができた。
風向きで煙が変われば立ち位置を変え、炎を見ていた。
近所の、おっさんが、それに乗じて竹を焼いていた。
そのせいで、竹筒から、もれる空気が、もの凄い音で爆発していた。
そんな事を、風呂に浸かりながら、思い出した。なぜ、おっさんは、竹を焼いていたのか？
炎を、じっと見つめるのは、本当に久しぶりだった。ゆらめく炎は、千変万化だった。
猛々しい炎 静寂な炎。一つとして、同じ形は無い。どっかで、聞いた事がある。
炎は心の象徴だと。心の有り様が、そのまま炎に投影されると。
そんな事を考えながら、目を細め、炎を見ていた。やっぱり、よく、わからなかった（笑）
だけど、炎を見ていると、なんだか穏やかな気持ちになれた。
この頃、情念という言葉が好きだ。歳が変わるたびに、好きな言葉や、好きな食い物が変わる。
炎には、この情念が、見事なほど、当てはまる。
うん？いつもより、文が渋い。きっと、今、読んでいる本の影響だ。大見は、影響を受けやすい。
ちなみに、読んでいる本は、北方謙三。ハードボイルド小説だ。うん。渋い。
炎を見つめながら、風呂に浸かる・・・これは、ひょっとして最高の贅沢ではないか？
うん。また、やろう。
